|Do you regularly travel for work, or maybe go on regular vacations each year? If so, then you already know how important it is to bring the right dental items with you each time.
If not, then you need to make sure you pack up a traveling bag full of dental hygiene essentials that can simply get tossed into your bag before you head off to your next adventure. Here are some essentials that should be a part of that bag.
What Do You Really Need to Make Sure is Included?
Obviously, you need to start off with the basics. Get a new toothbrush and put it in that bag, along with a new tube of toothpaste. This should be the first pair of items you put in there.
Then, make sure you get some dental floss, or the stick flossers, plus a bit of mouthwash without any alcohol in it. The alcohol does more to hurt your teeth and gums than it does to help them.
From there, you need to consider your mouth. You should always have a small bit of dental wax in your traveling bag. This is necessary if you ever chip or crack a tooth, as it can protect the rest of your mouth and help reduce your pain.
Do you have fillings or crowns? Then a bit of dental cement should also go with you. If you have sensitive teeth, then make sure the items you pick are meant to help decrease your overall tooth sensitivity. Plus, you should also make sure you have sugarless gum on hand, just in case you are not able to brush during your travels.
Traveling is not a vacation from oral hygiene. Make sure you have a bag ready to go before you head out the door next to some new destination.
